CM Punk has named some top WWE wrestlers he would like to face in the future. He believes that one-on-one matches have more pressure, and that’s where he feels the real challenge lies.

CM Punk was part of the main event on the first night of WrestleMania 41. He faced Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a big triple threat match. There was no title on the line, but the match had a huge twist that shocked the fans. During the match, CM Punk’s close friend Paul Heyman turned on him by hitting him with a low blow. Then, Heyman did the same to Roman Reigns. After years of working with Reigns as his “Wise Man,” Heyman switched sides and helped Seth Rollins win the match.
CM Punk Seeks Revenge and Faces New Rivalries
On the Raw episode after WrestleMania, CM Punk came out to seek revenge on Rollins and Heyman. But before he could do anything, Bron Breakker attacked him and Reigns. Breakker joined forces with Rollins and Heyman, forming a new alliance that seems dangerous to fans.
CM Punk’s return to WWE TV has not been confirmed yet, but fans are hoping he will return soon. There is a strong chance that Punk and Reigns could team up in the future to take on Rollins, Breakker, and Heyman.
CM Punk Talks About WWE’s Top Talent
Speaking with Netflix’s Tudum, CM Punk discussed working with current WWE stars. He praised the women’s division and also named some wrestlers he would like to face. Punk mentioned the United States Champion Jacob Fatu and said, “I got a little taste of him at WarGames, but one-on-one matches are my thing, more pressure that way.”
CM Punk also talked about other top WWE names. He said, “The women are carrying the show a lot of times. I think Rhea Ripley is a superstar. Liv Morgan had an MVP year in 2024. I like watching Gunther compete. I hate Dominik Mysterio, but that’s another story.”
He also mentioned he would like to face Finn Balor and revisit his old rivalry with Rey Mysterio. “I selfishly want to lock back up with Rey Mysterio, teach him a lesson for having such a brat kid,” he said jokingly.
While CM Punk has not yet fought Jacob Fatu in a singles match, the possibility of this happening in the future has fans excited.
