Addition And Removal Of Races

The headline addition to the F1 2026 calendar is the Madrid Grand Prix, which will make its debut as the Spanish Grand Prix, replacing Barcelona as the host city for one of the sport’s most historic races.

Another shocking thing is the departure of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix at Imola, which won’t return in F1 2026.

Change In Usual Timings

Several races have been shifted to streamline logistics and reduce travel. Notably, the Canadian Grand Prix moves to late May, immediately following the Miami Grand Prix. The Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix have been moved to April to accommodate Ramadan, as it falls in February and March.
