Branding of a company on the Indian Jersey is like a dream come true. Many brands offer huge sums of money for the same over time.

It’s easy to see how the logos on the jersey would stick in the mind of the viewer or consumer, leading to greater brand recognition. Following are the leading brands that have had logos on Indian jerseys.


With its headquarters in Bangalore, Byju’s is a global enterprise that provides instructional technology and learning applications. 2011 saw the establishment of it by Divya Gokulnath and Byju Raveendran. Byju’s claims to have more than 115 million students enrolled as of March 2022, giving the company a US$22 billion valuation.


Byju’s will be the primary sponsor of India’s jersey into the following year. The current Sri Lanka series was supposed to be the last match under the two parties’ previous agreement. The agreement that would keep Byju’s on the Indian jersey through 2023 was accepted by the BCCI Apex Council.


A Chinese manufacturer, OPPO offers an extensive range of products including smartphones, smart gadgets, audio devices, power banks, and other electronic equipment.

The winning bid from Oppo for the jersey rights for a five-year term was 1,790 crore. The gained value, however, is now perceived by the brand as being unsustainable and extremely high. The Oppo logo will be shown on Team India’s uniforms throughout the West Indies trip, which starts on August 3 and finishes on September 2.


JSW Sports, founded in 2012 and helps Indian players reach their full potential, is an essential component of the nation’s sporting culture. Mustafa Ghouse, a former tennis pro, is JSW Sports’s CEO. India’s jersey will bear the Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) emblem until the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, increasing their awareness on a global scale.

In addition to the athletes’ playing uniforms, the IIS and Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) have agreed that the logo will be printed on all official apparel, including referees’ kits.


The most prominent sports and gaming platform in India, the Mobile Premier League (MPL), is the source of MPL Sports. As of 2023, MPL Sports is the Men’s, Women’s, and Under-19 Cricket Teams of India’s official kit sponsor. The sound wave patterns on the jersey give it a striking, distinctive appearance. It is available in Prussian and Royal blue tones.

One of the significant sources of revenue for cricket boards is from sponsors, whose logos are displayed on the players’ jerseys as they play in matches.
