IPL Records and Statistics: Highest Score in IPL Without Losing a Single Wicket

The second-highest score was scored in an IPL match between Gujarat Lions and Kolkata Knight Riders in 2017. In the third match of the season at Rajkot, KKR won the toss and elected to bowl first. Gujarat accelerated in the middle, but gradually. While captain Suresh Raina smashed an unbeaten 68* from 51 balls, Dinesh Karthik hit 47 runs off 25 balls. As a result, Gujarat Lions scored 183/4 in their allotted 20 overs.

The total seemed to be one that would be impossible to defend, thus it appeared that KKR would face a difficult struggle. However, the KKR openers had something else in mind. The highest opening wicket partnership occurred in the 2022 season. The 66th match of the league was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. The end of this was thrilling. LSG won the toss and decided to bat first. The two openers, KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock, both played slowly before stepping up the pace. The second fiddle was Captain Rahul. With his 140*68 runs off just 70 balls, which included 10 fours and 10 sixes, the left-hander broke the previous IPL record for the highest score by a wicketkeeper. Rahul also managed to hang on for 68* from 51 balls. LSG scored 210 runs in their 20 overs. KKR, though, also played outstanding batting to reach the objective in response.
