  • William Portfield:

William Thomas Stuart Portfield, an Irish cricketer and the former captain of the Ireland cricket team played first class cricket matches for Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. This left-handed batsman played 26 matches and scored 1,777 runs with an average of 44.42. Not just that, during the Afghanistan T20 series in March 2017, Portfield became the first player from Ireland to score 1,000 runs.

  • Kevin O’Brien:

Kevin O’Brien, an Irish former international cricket player scored 1,748 runs in 36 matches, becoming the second-highest scorer after William Portfield. In fact, on 2 March 2011, he scored the fastest ever century in a 50-over World Cup from 50 balls against England. He is also the first person from Ireland to represent his country more than 300 times.

  • Niall O’Brien:

Niall O’Brien, a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper started his career in cricket by playing for Kent in 2004. He played 21 first class matches and scored 1,526 runs in them, which is too impressive. He is also one of the eleven players to play Ireland’s first match ever against Pakistan in May 2018.

  • Andre Botha:

Andre Botha is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium paced bowler who scored 1,367 first class runs in 22 matches. In total, he has played 55 matches for Ireland. Moreover, he is the fourth Irish player to get the double of 200o runs and 100 wickets.
