Contract Rumors and Website Removal

Mariah May’s AEW contract is believed to be ending. Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select reported her name was removed from AEW’s official website last Friday. This usually means the contract is over.

Mariah is expected to sign with WWE after her two-year deal with AEW expires. She has not confirmed this yet.

AEW Career and Championship Win

Mariah May joined AEW in 2023. She admired Toni Storm at that time. In 2024, at AEW All In London, she won the AEW Women’s World Title by defeating her former ally, “Timeless.”

She kept the championship for 174 days. In February 2025, at Grand Slam Australia, Toni Storm defeated her and took back the title.

Before that match, Toni Storm said Mariah is the champion she wanted to be but couldn’t because Mariah lacks heart. Toni added, “My biggest weakness is having too much heart, Mariah. I’m proud of you, but you will soon realize that’s not enough.”

Disappearance After Losing Title

After losing to Toni Storm in AEW Revolution 2025’s Hollywood Ending match, Mariah May has been away from wrestling. Fans are now waiting for her WWE debut.
