IND vs PAK: India U-19 showed a dominant performance in beating Pakistan U-19 by 90 runs in the high-tension Men’s U-19 Asia Cup match. The much-hyped match between India and Pakistan was more or less sealed in the initial stages of the Pakistani innings, with their bowling unit being led by Kanishk Chouhan’s impressive performance.

IND vs PAK: India Post Competitive Total Despite Middle-Order Stumble

The match, reduced to 49 overs per team because of rain, got off with a toss between the two sides, with the Pakistani team choosing to stay in the field. India got a cracking start, reaching 73 for 1 in just the ninth over, with their team captain, Ayush Mhatre, looking in good form with 38 off 25 balls.

India’s bowling attack did not waste any time in dominating the match. Deepesh Devendran was the first one to strike, taking 3 crucial wickets for 16 runs, leaving Pakistan struggling at 30 for 4 in 14 overs.

A 47-run partnership between Pakistan captain Farhan Yousaf and Huzaifa Ahsan gave some hope. Again, it was Chouhan who got the opening breakthrough, dismissing Yousaf.

Chouhan concluded with three wickets, ending an excellent bowling performance on her part. It took some time for Pakistan to get bowled out for 150 runs, with only three of their players managing to reach the double figure.

Huzaifa Ahsan was the only one who excelled for Pakistan, with a hard-fought 70 off 83 deliveries, before falling prey to Chouhan’s third wicket.
