Mohammed Shami: 3 Teams Who Can Target Him In IPL 2025

Mohammed Shami has set his base price at Rs 2 crore for the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. Shami is returning to the cricket field after almost a year of injury. Playing for Bengal in the Ranji Trophy, he took four wickets against Madhya Pradesh on the second day. After his brilliant comeback, many franchises will have their eyes on him in the IPL Mega Auction.

Let us tell you that Gujarat Titans have released the star bowler due to missing the entire season of IPL 2024. He has taken 48 wickets in 33 matches for Gujarat, in which he has also won the Purple Cap with 28 wickets in 2023. Now Shami is going to the IPL 2025 Mega Auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore.

1. Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Chennai Super Kings would be hopeful of strengthening the bowling side as they look to enter the season of IPL 2025. To start with, CSK has retained big names like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mathisha Pathirana, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, and captain MS Dhoni, and hence the next thing that CSK needs is quality bowlers.
