PAK vs ZIM: Pakistan Manages To Seal ODI Series Win By 2-1

With Kamran Ghulam’s first century in ODIs, Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 99 runs in the third and final ODI. With this victory, Pakistan won the three-match series 2-1. Pakistan had lost the first ODI of the series.

With the help of Kamran Ghulam’s strong century, Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 99 runs. With this victory, Pakistan won the series 2-1. Kamran Ghulam scored a century in his debut Test against England in Multan last month.

PAK vs ZIM, Kamran Ghulam’s match-winning knock

Against Zimbabwe, Ghulam scored 103 runs in 99 balls and helped Pakistan to post a strong score of 303 runs for six wickets. Abdullah Shafique played a half-century inning of 50 runs for the team.

Pakistan skipper Mohammad Rizwan employed seven bowlers and despite a half-century from captain Craig Ervine (51 runs), Zimbabwe were bowled out for 204 in 40.1 overs. Rizwan led the team to victory in the second consecutive ODI series. Earlier, the team had won a historic 2-1 victory against Australia.

The fast bowlers of Pakistan played well

Fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah were rested, without whom Pakistan’s fast bowling did a good job in Zimbabwe. Fast bowler Amer Jamal, who also made his ODI debut in the series, captured two wickets for 19 runs. Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, and Haris Rauf also snapped two wickets each. From Sunday, both teams will feature in a three-match T20 series.

Talking about Zimbabwe, both the bowling and batting of the team were ordinary. In bowling, Sikandar Raza and Richard Ngarava took three wickets each for the host team. Other than this, Blessing Mujarbani and Faraz Akram took one wicket each. This is the reason why the Pakistan team scored 303 runs.

Apart from this, if we talk about batting, apart from captain Craig Irving, no other player could stay on the crease. Irving played an innings of 51 runs for the team.
