WWE Clash in Paris 2025 already has an exciting card, but fans know WWE often saves big twists for the last moment. Double turns, where one superstar switches from heel to face and another does the opposite, have always been a powerful storytelling tool.
The upcoming event on August 31 could see a few surprising shifts in character. Let’s take a closer look at three possible double turns that might shake up the show.
WWE Clash In Paris 2025: Will We See Double Turns?
3. Roman Reigns (heel) and Bronson Reed (face)

Roman Reigns has been struggling since Paul Heyman betrayed him at WrestleMania 41 to side with Seth Rollins. Since then, Rollins’ faction has dominated, leaving The Tribal Chief without his usual power.
Adding to his frustration, Bronson Reed has repeatedly embarrassed Reigns, even going as far as mocking him and stealing his sneakers on two different occasions. Their match at Clash in Paris is personal, and Reigns could lose his cool completely.
If Roman goes too far and tries to end Reed’s career, the fans may finally turn on him, pushing him deeper into heel territory. Meanwhile, Reed, who only returned earlier this year after a long injury break, would win fan sympathy and rise as a strong babyface.
This could be a turning point for both men, setting up new rivalries after Paris.
2. Nikki Bella (heel) and Becky Lynch (face)
Nikki Bella shocked everyone when she came back at the 2025 Royal Rumble. However, instead of a hero’s welcome, she has faced constant disrespect from the current women’s division. Liv Morgan insulted her, and more recently, Becky Lynch claimed she had contributed more to the division than Nikki ever did.
Their match for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship in Paris already has plenty of heat. If Becky retains her title and humiliates Nikki the way she has done to others before, it could push the Hall of Famer over the edge.
A vicious post-match attack from Bella would instantly turn her heel, while fans would rally behind Becky as the babyface. This would not only refresh Bella’s character but also open the door for future storylines, possibly involving Bayley, who has been hinting at a darker side herself.
1. Jey Uso (heel) and Seth Rollins (face)

Jey Uso’s alliance with CM Punk and LA Knight has always looked uneasy. On RAW, tensions boiled over when Jey ended up superkicking both Punk and Knight out of frustration. This moment showed signs that he might be ready to turn heel.
At Clash in Paris, Jey could go even further by targeting Punk in a way that looks like a betrayal. If that happens, Seth Rollins may step in not to save Punk out of kindness, but to keep his rival healthy so he can continue their feud.
By protecting Punk from serious injury, Rollins could temporarily earn cheers from the crowd, making him a babyface for the night. This type of double turn would give new energy to the main-event scene and allow WWE to build toward bigger rivalries down the road.
