Vaibhav Suryavanshi spectacularly smashed two fantastic sixes off Jasprit Bumrah in IPL 2026. The cricketing world has been amazed at the audacity of Vaibhav’s batting against arguably the best bowler in the world.

An incredible moment in IPL 2026 that will be remembered in cricket history for many years to come occurred in a tremendous match between the Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians when 15-year-old rising star Vaibhav Suryavanshi came up against arguably the most dangerous bowler in the world, Jasprit Bumrah.

New batsmen usually have difficulty picking up his deliveries; however, Vaibhav demonstrated that he is different from those types of batsmen. After he smashed a mammoth six off the very first ball of Bumrah’s over, he produced an incredibly electrifying atmosphere at the Wankhede Stadium and left an all-time great like Bumrah totally stunned.

This over started with a bang for Bumrah. Giving away a six on his very first ball, Bumrah tried to make a comeback, but with sheer presence of mind on the very next ball, Vaibhav collected singles and gave the strike to Yashasvi Jaiswal. Then, Jaiswal once again rotated the strike towards Vaibhav on the fourth ball of that over.

Vaibhav hit a six on a slower-ball bouncer from Bumrah with utmost clarity. Batting against the likes of Bumrah is never an easy task.

Vaibhav Not Fazed Despite Being Under Pressure

Bumrah used a yorker and full-toss on the last two balls to put some pressure on Vaibhav. On the fifth ball of the over, Vaibhav stepped out of his crease in an attempt to take a quick single. But even after falling on the stumps while attempting to go back to safety, Vaibhav managed to stay at his end without any problem.

The amount of confidence shown by this teenager in the entire over was just unbelievable. It seemed like an accomplished bowler like Bumrah was helpless against this young talent today.
