This year’s awards will honor the winners of the ICC Trophy from five Indian teams that have achieved success in the last year.
The event is scheduled to be held on March 15 at New Delhi, bringing together the champions from different formats and age groups to celebrate the success of the country in international cricket.
BCCI Confirms Grand Celebration in New Delhi
According to BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia, the NAMAN Awards 2026 will be bestowed upon the players and coaches who have made significant contributions to India’s recent success in international cricket tournaments.
The award function is said to be held at a five-star hotel near Delhi airport, which will be convenient for the players who are soon to travel to their respective franchises for the Indian Premier League season.
The BCCI secretary confirmed that all members from the winning teams of the ICC titles will be invited to the award function, making it a special occasion to celebrate Indian cricket’s success.

The NAMAN Awards 2026 would honor the outstanding success of the Indian teams in all the categories during the previous year. All the teams had won a prestigious ICC Trophy in the year. It was the golden age for the country’s cricketing system.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli Likely to Attend
The NAMAN Awards 2026 will likely have several of India’s greatest cricket players in attendance including senior players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
They both were key members of the Indian team that won the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy so they will add plenty of star power to the event assuming they can make it.
Rohit Sharma was recently spotted during the latter part of the T20 World Cup 2026, which was held as a brand ambassador, during the semi-finals and finals of the tournament.
Cricket Legends Could Also Grace the Event
The ceremony might also see appearances from former Indian captain MS Dhoni, who was spotted in the stands during the final stages of the T20 World Cup.
Meanwhile, current India head coach Gautam Gambhir might also attend the ceremony, especially since the ceremony is taking place in his hometown.
Record Prize Money for T20 World Cup Champions
In a bid to celebrate India’s latest success, BCCI has announced a reward of ₹131 crore for the winning team of the T20 World Cup 2026 tournament. This reward money is the highest prize money offered by BCCI for a winning Indian team. The recognition will further emphasize the importance of India’s latest ICC Trophy wins.
Another ICC Event on the Horizon
Though India is celebrating its recent success in cricket, another major event is just around the corner. The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to commence in June 2026, and India will once again have the chance to win more ICC Trophies in its kitty.
