Also, the thing that makes cricket little different from other stuffs is the advanced quotient of mathematical approach it takes, time – to – time.

One such aspect is STRIKE RATE calculation and KKR’S Hot Prospect, Opener Shubhmon Gill isn’t a huge fan of the system.

While talking to PTI, Shubhmon called STRIKE RATE system as ‘Overrated’.

“I think strike-rate is kind of overrated. It’s all about how you adapt to a certain situation. If the team demands you to play with a strike rate of 200 you should be able to do it. If the team demands you to play at a strike rate of 100, you should be able to do it. It’s just about adapting to the match situation,” he firmly said.

He further said, “There shouldn’t be a certain pattern to your game where you are only able to play one kind of game and not being able to adapt to different situations.”

This is somewhere near down the line, make-or-break season for this youngster in IPL and this season would determine whether KKR sticks with him or part ways next season.
