Chris Gayle
Chris Gayle holds the record for the fastest hundred in IPL history. Gayle scored 175 runs off 66 balls in an IPL 2013 match for the Pune Warriors. During his impressive innings, Gayle blasted 17 sixes and 13 fours. The left-hander reached triple figures off of just 30 deliveries. With the help of Gayle’s century, RCB scored an impressive 263 runs in 20 overs. The Pune team fell by 130 runs after scoring 133/9.
Yusuf Pathan
Among all the Indian players, Yusuf Pathan holds the record for the highest score in this category. In 2010, when playing against Mumbai Indians, he became the player with the fastest century up to that point by hitting a thousand runs in only 37 balls. In this match, Rajasthan Royals attempted to reach a lofty target of 213 runs, and they were in the game until Yusuf was dismissed.
David Miller
During the historic 101-run knock David Miller had against RCB in the 2013 Indian Premier League, he reached the century in only 38 balls. RCB had set a target of 191 runs against Punjab, and they were in the winning zone in the second innings because Punjab only scored 64/4 in 9.5 overs even though they had set the target. Miller’s brilliant performance was a big reason why Punjab could chase down the tough score in only 18 overs and with six wickets still in the game.
Adam Gilchrist
In the first season of the Indian Premier League, Adam Gilchrist scored a century off just 42 balls. Gilchrist won the match for his team even though Deccan Chargers were playing against Mumbai Indians and needed to score 155 runs in 20 overs to win. DC won this match with a very comfortable margin of ten wickets.
AB de Villiers
AB de Villiers is one of the top batsmen in the Indian Premier League. Against the Gujarat Lions at the 2016 IPL, he scored a hundred in 43 deliveries. The match was played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, and his stunning knock contributed to his team’s victory over GL. ABD scored 129 points and a success rating of 248.07 percent. He struck ten limits and twelve over-boundaries. Aside from that, he is well-known throughout the league for working tirelessly and contributing much to his club.
