The English all-rounder Ben Stokes tweeted and shared his thoughts on the current IPL season. He said, “Hope the wickets don’t get worse as the IPL gets deeper into the tournament..160/170 minimum not scraping to 130/140 cause the wickets are trash..”

Stokes shared his concern on the pitch and shared his thought on Twitter. Recently teams failed to put a high total on M A Chidambaram Stadium’s pitch. On 23rd April Mumbai was facing Punjab and the Mumbai batsmen struggled throughout the innings. After the innings break, Stokes tweeted and showed his concern towards the low-scoring games in the IPL.

Replying to the tweet, some of the cricket fans trolled him saying “Still crying about pitches” referring to the incidents of the past when England came to India.

Stokes is ruled out of the tournament due to injury. Rajsthan faced a huge blow as their key player is absent for the rest of the tournament. Rajasthan is currently 8th on the table.
