Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women (RCB Women) has made its mark in the record book by virtue of its dominating victory against the Gujarat Giants Women (GGW) with a massive 61-win in the match played in the WPL 2026 at the Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara.

Not only was the victory dominating, but this also marks the achievement of the milestone as the match has made RCB Women break the record for the most consecutive wins in the WPL.

GGW vs RCBW: A One-Sided Contest in Vadodara

RCB Women performed fantastically in the 12th match that took place in the Women’s Premier League in the year 2026. RCB Women dominated the entire match from the initial stage to the end.

RCB Women were batting first in the match involving GGW vs RCBW, scoring a total of 178 runs for GGW. The RCB women’s team’s bowling performance was simply outstanding, as they restricted the Gujarat Giants to a meagre 117 runs.

This crushing victory further consolidated RCB Women’s place at the top of the points table, as well as maintaining their dominance in this ongoing season too.

This win further improved the winning streak of RCB Women, which is currently at six consecutive victories, thus breaking the previous record of the Women’s Premier League. This record was previously held by Mumbai Indians Women, having five consecutive victories in the 2023-2024 season.

RCB Women also made history by becoming only the second team to start a season with five wins in a row in the WPL. Mumbai Indians Women achieved this milestone for the first time as part of the inaugural season of WPL in 2023. However, RCB went one better by turning this five-match streak into six consecutive victories, thus establishing a historic moment in the rather short history of this league.
