Pant hit three boundaries in a row in Rahul Tewatia’s over which initially concluded to become the most expensive till now in the match.
Pant completed his half-century with a boundary at sweeper cover. Of just 30 balls, he completed 51 runs playing the role of skipper and carrying forward the scoreboard.
With Prithvi Shaw (2), Shikhar Dhawan (9), and Ajinkya Rahane (8), Pant almost took the game back on track.
